Iris Law shot by Luke
Freeman in her first ad campaign.
2015 was the year of
the famous spawn: Kaia Gerber, daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber,
made her grownup modeling debut with spreads in Vogue Italia and CR Fashion
Book; Sailor Brinkley Cook, Christie Brinkley’s kid, was shot for Town &
Country; Brooklyn Beckham was on the cover of Miss Vogue; more Baldwins came
out of the woodwork; and the sons of Pierce Brosnan, Val Kilmer, and Gary
Oldman all walked for Saint Laurent. But possibly the biggest public coming-out
of a famous kid was Rafferty Law, the 18-year-old offspring of Jude Law and
Sadie Frost — that is, until his sister came along.

Iris Law, 15, has
landed a campaign for Violetta Fancies You x Illustrated People. The teenager,
one of the couple’s four kids, appears in the ads with her hair styled in Bantu
knots, sporting a dark Bordeaux-colored lip, and a face displaying all her teenage
angst to match. She also wears silk PJs — a black top with “I’d rather be
sleeping” written in cursive on the back and polka dot pants, designed to be
worn in and out of bed — from stylist and photographer Phoebe-Lettice
Thompson’s collaboration with Illustrated People, a London-based label targeted
at the Topshop/Urban Outfitters/Nasty Girl set.
It appears Iris’s foray
into the fashion world isn’t just a one-off, seeing as she’s held modeling
aspirations for quite some time. While she hasn’t tweeted since 2012, the
description on her profile reads, “future model. daughter of Jude Law.” She
also appeared in a photo shoot with her parents in a 2002 Vogue feature, has
posed for tons of paparazzi shots that she expertly hammed it up for, and even
made a cameo in her mother’s first directorial effort, Mrs. Olsen.
